Warren is an exceptional manager in the field of clinical and material management. His contribution to this field has exceeded beyond expectation as he has made significant inputs that made an impact on the companies' financial condition. Having - a been there and done that - hands on experience in the surgical industry for more than a decade, he has honed his skills and enriched his knowledge in assessing and executing cost reduction strategies and revenue improvement approaches. He works passionately in providing the most viable approach to cost reduction, save money and improve revenue for your company.
His significant mark in administering cost savings strategies was made evident when a formerly stand-alone surgery center in Beverly Hills, California was able to expand its business into managing multiple facilities all over the country through his initiatives. With his passion to help the company save on their expenditures, he implemented an affiliation program to a GPO which allows the company to enjoy significant discounts thus giving the company immediate savings.
Another note-worthy contribution of Warren to his cost-savings approaches was his commitment to deliver to the clients what is due to them. An amount of $166K of credits from an implant company was given back to a hospital after he reviewed and found out in the contract that the hospital was being charged for implants that are not covered in its existing contract.
In fact, Warren has implemented many beneficial and valuable processes that had made a major impact in reducing cost, improving efficiency and increasing profitability for the company. Among those that Warren has done were: standardization of vendors, materials and operation systems to the entire facility under him; streamlining the process of purchasing and receiving; implementing the JIT procedure; and building Physician's Preference Cards, create reports, Implant Log and many services within that area.

His Advantage
He started as a Surgical Technologist in mid 1990's at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center then work as a contract facilitator with Aesculap, recognized as the world's largest surgical instruments manufacturer. He rose to become a Corporate Materials Management Director managing six-(6) materials manager from six-(6) ambulatory surgery center and one-(1) hospital across the country for Salus Surgical Group, LLC in Beverly Hills, California.
He built his expertise when he started as a surgical technologist then slowly and surely learned the basics of supply buying and cost analysis. From then on, he obtained functional working knowledge of surgical supply and inventory management as well as other supply chain processes.
His cost savings strategies and approaches has been a result of his direct involvement on the different surgical processes. His experience as a surgical technologist, gave him unique advantage considering he has assisted in all specialties. His in-depth knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of this processes made him confident in leading the negotiations with multiple vendors and suppliers. He will use his expertise to help you uncover hidden savings opportunities.
Added advantage to being a Surgical Technologist for a solid number of years allowed him to communicate better with physicians on their needs and address matters which will help in improving existing system. He can speak their "language" and be able to pinpoint specific areas for improvement. His exceptional interpersonal skills allows him to establish partnerships with his clients.
He is well-trained, experienced and knowledgeable on many purchasing and scheduling software systems in the market like Pre Se' ORSOS, Prescient Healthcare Source Vision, AdvantX, Cardinal Health Pyxis, Source Medical Surgisource and Advantix, Jarit CIMS2Basic, Aesculap InstaCount and Censis Technology Censitrac.
He is a savvy negotiator, has the ability to multi-task and open-minded for changes. He challenges the status - quo conditions believing that there is still room for improvement. He continuously challenge established performance standards in order to keep ahead of competition.
